Sri Sudi Kodutha Nachiyar, Andal, has composed 170 songs in praise of her beloved deity Sri Krishna. Out of this Thirupavai, is said to be the esssence of Vedanta principles, containing Sri Krishna Bhakta rasa anubhava. These songs are popular and recited in houses and temples in Southern states and keeping with the requirement, Thirupavai has been transliterated to Telegu. Thirupalliyezhuchi, sung by Sri Thondaradipodi Azhwar, recited to wake up Sri Ranganatha, every day at the morning hours. These songs are also given in Telegu.
